4.
Gross Motor & Fine Motor
The children
develop their gross motor skills (locomotor
skills, non-locomotor skills) through
games, outdoor activities and gym
activities. There are water play,
sand play, multi-sensory balls, slides,
tricycles and many fun filled activities
that the children can work on during
the outdoor activities. There is also
a mini nursery for children to grow
their own fruits and vegetables.
Children will
enhance their fine motor skills and
eye hand co-ordination through activities
such as painting, threading, pegging
etc. Activities are carefully planned
to develop children's fine motor skills
such as tactile integration and manipulation,
grasping, releasing and bilateral
skills. Our school encourages children
to create models and artwork from
different textured materials. These
creative representations of the children's
works reflect the children's present
level of development.
YOUNG SOCCER
PROGRAMME
Kits4Kids
Special School kicks off with the
young soccer programme for children
from 3 to 7 years old. This programme
is conducted by a professionally trained
physical educator for young children.
In this programme, individual child’s
physical progress will be monitored
so that the coach will be able to
implement the appropriate activities
for the child. It is a great programme
to teach children the gross motor
co-ordination skills, and social skills
in terms of collaborative play.
